Papillon

PAPILLON designed for PIÜMA, is a multifaceted fabric seat/container. The tapered flexible fabric container, on its rigid mirrored shape base, also covered with fabric, can mutate with a simple push in a comfortable seat with its semi-rigid back concealed in the fabric, offering a multiple and flexible use and an unexpected and surprising formal concept. The top seat/container is removable and can be separated from the base by means of a zip that runs circularly around it, allowing to slipping the washable and interchangeable seat cover off and enabling almost infinite texture and color combinations.The project was curated under the supervision of Manuela Bucci.
